Capt. Bob launches The European

The now infamous Capt. Bob Maxwell. He was one of the two newspaper tycoons of my era,  the other being Rupert Murdoch (both initials RM). These were taken the day he launch The European newspaper. A paper for the newly enlarged Europe after the fall of the Berlin wall and Iron Curtain. He then fell off a boat and his sons were declared the largest bankrupts in European history. He was an imposing man. I worked for a very short time in the dying days of the newspaper. It was fun. A lovely idea. Doomed from the start.
